Photos: Recent Stories: Immigrant's nightlife in Tel Aviv
A debate over foreign immigrants razes in Israel as in other Western countries in Europe and the Americas, Tel Aviv became a base for foreigners from Thailand, China, Romania, Chad, Sudan and many other countries. Some foreigners come to Israel with authorizations to work for few years some enter Israel illegally and look for shelter and work.
Lives of these immigrants are not easy, Israeli authorities chases and expel illegal immigrants and give hard time to renew visas for those who entered legally.
Tel Aviv's old central bus station has become like another country within Israel - a center of foreigners. It is also a nightlife center of the foreigners who look for some happiness and joy after the long working ours. They gather mostly in groups of the same origin in bars and nightclubs. There are bars mostly for Thai people, where Karaoke songs are running all night, Eritreans go to the Ethiopian bars where a bottle of beer cost half then in a regular "Israeli" bar, and East Europeans go to nightclubs where their kind of music is played, where they can dance traditional dances.
