We have all seen settlements and settlers - worldwide news medias regularly cover event regarding Them. This documentary work aims to get to know these people intimately - from the inside.
According to the Israeli Interior Ministry, in the end of June 2010 more then 320,000 Jews live in the west bank. In 1996 – 29 years after the 6 Days War and the decision to settle the occupied territories - the government of Israel articulated for the first time, a commitment not to establish any new settlements. But this has not prevented the establishment of over 100 new settlements (known as outposts) throughout the West Bank since.
One who has never been in the West Bank might think that these are few tents or caravans out on hilltops. Some of the more recent outposts are such, but there is much more, entire cities has been constructed, some of them with supermarkets, swimming pools, universities and so on. That is what makes any evacuation a hard decision to take and even more, a hard decision to execute.
